Ick.....

I have plenty of stuff to blog about, I promise to get to those items soon (Halloween, Running, etc).

Today, as I look outside, all I can say is ICK.

We are in for cold, wet, sloppy, nasty RAIN through Saturday.

A chance of SNOW showers on Sunday....then yes, more rain. Rain, RAin, RAIn, RAIN!

Oh how I wish I were here:

I would love to be right in the middle of the beach, with a lounge chair, a book, and an umbrella drink.

Ahhhhhh...one can dream.

A fruit in disguise...

Things that make you go "hmmmmm..."
Levi opened his fruit snacks today...and hiding inside was a gummi bear!

Life is full of surprises :)

A Gator Ride ~

Levi has been riding on the Gator and the Tractor and the Backhoe with Grandpa for several years now. A simple Gator ride with Mom is just not fun for him anymore.

Well, little Mr. Alex was all too excited to take one with his mommy:

Don't worry, we were parked when I took the picture & I was safely holding onto him while I was driving very slowly around the farm.

I try not to take it personally when Levi doesn't want to be with me...Grandpa and Grandma are more fun.
I just make him follow the rules & behave & eat dinner with the family.

Alex will soon enough be the same way, so I will take his sweet enjoyment of new things while I can.

Trouble Maker in the Making ~

I'm pretty sure that these pictures tell the tale!
He is going to be trouble, I just know it:

The intense look of determination:

The look of anger when the coffee pot go pushed away...so close!

Good think he's cute!

Take me out to the ball game...

We (Sally, Duncan, and I) took the boys to the Mariner's Game last night. They were playing the Reds & WON!!! 1-0!

Little Alex got to stay with Grandma and Grandpa. Levi and Wyatt got to enjoy the game, hamburgers, french fries, and the crazy dancing. Here are some pictures of our night out:

Duncan being tortured in the small backseat between the two boys...he only had to ride back there for about 15 minutes. That's what he gets for being mean to me right before we left home!

I (being the nice person that I am) moved to the backseat after we got gas. The boys tried to behave...hard to do when you are stuck in traffic for 3 hours!

At the game (Wyatt, Sally, & Levi):

Mommy & Daddy:

Levi - very seriously watching the fan cam!

Mommy's favorite part of the evening...driving by the Starbucks Center!

Overall, we had a really good time and the boys enjoyed themselves. And, it was made even better when the Mariner's WON!!!

The Bathtub ~

It is one of my favorite places to go. The fragrant bubbles, the warm water, the cozy towel, the paperback novel, and the best thing...quiet.

Being a mom to 2 boys is wonderful and very, very tiring. Being a wife to Duncan is also wonderful and very, very tiring. Why do women/wives/mommies have to be the ones to worry so much? Loving, hugging, comfort, food, clothing, school, cleaning, shopping...the never ending list.

For me, 20 minutes in this lovely bathtub makes it all go away (for a little while anyway). I can accomplish several things in the tub - get some reading done, take a cat nap, shave, or just sit and stare out the window.

No matter what I do, the bathtub is always a wonderful experience...

Thanks Tub - see you tomorrow for another stress relieving, quiet and relaxing soak.

Oh what a world ~

On Friday my cousin Sally, friend Tara, and I went to Seattle for the Tim McGraw concert. It was AWESOME!!!

Afterwards though sucked. We got back to Sally's truck - which was parked on the 5th floor of the parking garage - to find that some a-hole had broken one of the windows and took all our stuff. Totally sucks because Sally had picked me up after work, so I had my gym bag, changes of clothes, my lunch bag...and yes, stupidly my purse in the truck. (please note that the purse was tucked under the seat).

So, my beloved Coach bag, Old Navy pants, favorite shoes, and much more was taken away. I have had to spend the weekend moving my accounts, putting credit freezes on the credit bureaus (just in case), even getting a new YMCA scan card.

Well Mr. Criminal - sorry to tell you but there wasn't any money, credit cards, debit cards, or ID in the stuff you took. Just personal belongings that won't mean squat to you, but have a lot of meaning to me.

The silver lining - no one was hurt. Insurance will fix the window. I can replace the items stolen. And, I had already used my free punch for my free meal at Happy Teriyaki. Ha, Ha.

Life will go on...and Tim McGraw was again --- AWESOME!

Tomorrow I get to take the day off of work and go to the zoo with my kids. No more tears over this stupid mistake, only joy and laughter that the kids will sure to bring me tomorrow.

1st Post - Hello Blog Land

I have decided to start a blog; why? Several people I know have a blog, they post stories about their lives. After a few years, one can go back and revisit that part of their life. I love it!
I'm not one to write in a journal, I don't really have the time to scrapbook or do photo books. I'm always on the computer and don't mind typing, so I thought, "let's give it a try".
So here I am, Stacie Tellers. My life is busy with my hubby of 10 years, Duncan and our two boys: Levi age 5, and Alex 11 months. I like to run, go to the YMCA for workouts, cook, read, mow the lawn, and be with my family.
I hope this little place in blog land will help me to put down life's events and later on give me a place to go back and remember.
